Student data is processed to give feedback
Voice and video from sessions are processed to generate feedback. They are not sold, and raw webcam video is deleted right after analysis.
FERPA-aware, DPA-ready
We work under the FERPA "school official" model and return a data-processing agreement promptly so procurement can move.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Sessions and stored reports are encrypted. Access is scoped to your student’s own account.
Deletable on request
Students and institutions can request deletion; scored reports and transcripts are kept only until the account expires or deletion is requested.

We complete security questionnaires (including HECVAT) on request and will walk your IT team through our controls. We will pursue SOC 2 when a partner requires it.

Can I offer live AI mock interviews to my whole cohort?
Yes. That is the core of the license: every provisioned student gets the live, two-way voice mock interview with a scored debrief, plus the full career toolkit, with generous included practice across the term.
How are students provisioned?
We provision accounts for your named cohort directly, in days, with no IT project. There is no software to install and nothing for students to pay; your program shares the roster and students activate their accounts. SAML SSO is available for larger rollouts, activated per deal.
Is this a VMock or Big Interview alternative for schools?
It overlaps with those tools on resumes and interview prep, with one structural difference: most incumbents record a student’s answer and score it later, while UnchartedCareer holds a live, back-and-forth voice interview that adapts to each answer in real time, then scores it. Many programs run it alongside an existing resume tool; some replace the stack with the single license.
Which kinds of programs use this?
